The 2008 NC Rhododendron Festival will be held on June 20-21, in Bakersville and we are SEEKING CONTESTANTS!!
One of the area's longest standing scholarship opportunities for young women, the North Carolina Rhododendron Pageant is held over the course of the two evenings of the Festival in the Bowman Middle School Auditorium:
- Friday, June 20, 2008 at 7pm
- Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 7pm
Tickets are available at the door. Master of Ceremonies is Robert Hensley.

Here's what you need to know...
Queen scholarship: $5000.00
Jr. Queen scholarship: $1000.00
Ages: Junior (ages 8-12) and Queen (ages 17-22). Contestants must be legal resident of NC and Queen contestants must be high school grad.
Competitions: Junior-interview, talent, evening gown. Senior-interview, talent, swimsuit, evening gown
