Dr. Steve North, Family Practice physician, will be joining the staff in August of 2006. Dr. North is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.

Dr. North has strong ties to Mitchell County. He is married to Jennifer Larson, M.D., daughter of Dr. David Larson and Susan Larson. Dr. North and Dr. Larson are the parents of one child, Elias.
